After a visit to the Plaza de Espagna, we were looking for something to eat. We passed this place and noticed a lot of locals enjoying some drinks and food. There is a small terrace, it was full so we went inside. Our daughter has celiac disease: on the (online) menu you can filter the dishes and we got gluten-free bread. The waiters were very friendly and spoke a little English. We then had the salmon with mango and the pulled beef burger. Both were very good and tasty. Depending on the dish you can choose tapas, small or large plate. We also ordered the scrambled eggs, which we didn't like, but that's a matter of taste. We can recommend this place!

Accidentally dropped by this restaurant and couldn't ask for more. Very authentic place to have good food & drink with friends or family..

An excellent value breakfast with very high quality ingredients. Lunch and dinner is also great quality, but perhaps a bit pricy for what you get. All the servers I've dealt with have been excellent.

We were walking around the city and wanted to find a place for lunch. We came by Sal y tomate. There were people on the porch having their lunch which looked good so we decided to walk in. The server approached us immediately and led us into the dining room which was good as there was 40C outside. The friendly service continued throughout our stay. We ordered grilled squid, tomato salad, and cod and potato salad. Everything was very good and well prepared. Definitely recommend the place.

If you want you eat real spanish food, you need to be here. We got a good explanation about everything and they were very friendly. Highly recommand this restaurant/bar with a good atmosphere
